(Bridal Wreath). Dark green leaves to 30 cms. 70 cm spikes bear flowers that are pale pink with deeper pink veining. Summer flowering. Old-fashioned favourite. Sun or partial shade. Good cut flower.
(Burning Bush). Plants are 2 years old. Mature plants are up to 90 cms in height. Purple-mauve flowers with darker veins early summer, highly fragrant lemon scented leaves. A beautiful plant when in flower and a favourite of mine. Lovely as specimen plant where you can brush past it. Usually take 4 years to flower. Winter dormant.
To 60 cms in height. Unusual flowers that are a group of tightly packed florets that are backed by petal-like bracts. This makes the flowers look much like a star or a firework. Sun/part shade. Clump forming, hardy perennial. Could include pink, white or pink/green/white. Winter dormant.
20 cms. Summer dormant. Soft crumply oval leaves, scalloped and stalked that bear pale lavender flowers in spring. Part shade.
Height to about 40 cms. Evergreen. Large white flowers with a green eye. Leathery type foliage. Good drainage essential. Suitable for under Rhododendrons or deciduous trees.
