3 large potted bulbs. Lightest of blue with a pretty white top. Sun and good drainage.
Pretty upward-facing, short-spurred, bicoloured flowers. These are bushy, clump-forming perennial columbines that typically grow 45 to 60 cms tall and bloom in spring. Blue with contrasting white on the upper parts of the sepals. Sun or light shade. Winter dormant. Problems Susceptible to leaf miner. Aphids are a lesser problem. Potential disease problems include leaf spot, powdery mildew and rust. Foliage usually declines by mid-summer at which point it should be cut to the ground. Uses Borders, rock gardens, cottage gardens, open shade gardens, woodland gardens or naturalized areas. Also a good selection for a hummingbird garden. Continue to water plants after bloom to enjoy the ground cover effect of the foliage.
To 35 cms. Striking, nodding red and white spurred flowers late spring to early summer. Sun or light shade. Suits borders, woodland edges and cottage gardens. Attracts insects. Winter dormant.
20 seeds (2025). Height 60 to 80 cms. Stunning deep violet purple colour, black in bud. Flowers early summer. Moist soil, sun/part shade. Clump forming, hardy perennial. Includes standard postage. If you require nz post/courier or aramex couriers it is extra.
(Painted Daisy). To 90 cms. Pink, single daisy flowers late spring/summer. Finely-cut, somewhat ferny foliage in a mound. Sun/semi-shade. Cut flowers last well. Cottage garden, mixed border. Dormant in winter.
5 large pieces with a good shoot. (Toad Lily). Beautiful orchid-like flowers in autumn. White with purple spots. Moist soil. Great for shady woodland or perennial border. Well-drained, rich, moist soil. Coded as Number 8. Winter dormant.
