There are about 150 different types of perennials and bulbs in the nursery including:

- Border perennials
- Rockery plants
- Woodland plants
- Potted bulbs
There are a few seed varieties and plastic labels available for sale. Visitors can obtain a printed catalogue and are welcome to wander around and enjoy looking at the variety of lines on offer. Some photos are on display or online.

Aquilegia buergeriana 'Calimero'
20cm. Dwarf with dainty purplish/wine blooms with contrasting soft-lemon corolla. Lovely. Winter dormant.
Aquilegia Crystal Star Red
Height to 60 cms. Long spurred red flowers in spring. Sun and good drainage. Winter dormant.
Aruncus dioicus
NEEDS COLLECTED NOVEMBER ONWARDS WHEN TALL. (Goats Beard). To 1.5 metres. Many dramatic plumes composed of tiny, white flowers in autumn. Light shade and moist soil-needs moisture over summer. Ideal for light shade and by water. Winter dormant.
Astilbe arendsii 'Fanal'
Height to 40 cms. Lovely deepest red flowers late spring/summer. Bronze/green foliage. Moist shade. Winter dormant.
Astrantia major Mixed
To 60 cms in height. Unusual flowers that are a group of tightly packed florets that are backed by petal-like bracts. This makes the flowers look much like a star or a firework. Sun/part shade. Clump forming, hardy perennial. Colours may be pink/green/white or shades of pink or green/white. Winter dormant.

Height to about 30 cms. Clusters of large upright purple bells spring to summer. Sun or part shade. Winter dormant
