This is a seed strain, mostly producing red-flowered forms, with a few pink or white on occasion. Excellent filler plant for a moist area in sun or part shade. Also nice in mixed containers or tubs. Flowers may be cut fresh, or dried for winter arrangements. Remove faded flowers to encourage more buds, also to prevent plants from self seeding all over. Winter dormant.
