Whorls of shiny green leaves. Up to 4 semi pendant flowers in dark purply/black shades. Similar interior colour but lacquered. Slight shade, humus rich soil. Keep moist even after flowering. Autumn/Winter dormant.
Height to 50 cms. Bright, tangerine orange, double flowers on compact plants. This vigorous, long blooming variety is easy to grow in most gardens.
Sun or partial shade. To one metre +. Fertile humus rich, well drained soil. Smothered in showy clusters of pure white, sweet pea-like flowers among grey-green leaves. A vigorous climber, it looks lovely scrambling over a sunny wall or through a hedge or evergreen shrub, although initially it needs to be tied into supports. No fragrance. Cut back the plant to ground level in early spring. Winter dormant.
To 80 cms. Forms a compact mould. Long stems bear large, frilly mid to deep lilac blue blooms summer to autumn, that are ideal for picking. Sun or part shade in containers or garden. Colours may vary.
(Burning Bush). Plants are 2 years old. Mature plants are up to 90 cms in height. Purple-mauve flowers with darker veins early summer, highly fragrant lemon scented leaves. A beautiful plant when in flower and a favourite of mine. Lovely as specimen plant where you can brush past it. Usually take 4 years to flower. Winter dormant.
