(Cranesbill). Everygreen with deep purple flowers spring to autumn. Long flowering. Sun or light shade.
(Burning Bush). Plants are 2 years old. Mature plants are up to 90 cms in height. Purple-mauve flowers with darker veins early summer, highly fragrant lemon scented leaves. A beautiful plant when in flower and a favourite of mine. Lovely as specimen plant where you can brush past it. Usually take 4 years to flower. Winter dormant.
To 20 cms. Cute wee geum that is dwarf in nature with small deep pink flowers from spring. Sun is best, suits rockery or edge of border. Semi dormant in winter.
(Cranesbill) - Height to 60 cms. The pale pink flowers are netted and veined in magenta. The petals are notched. Attractive for sunny border. Cut back hard after flowering and you will get a second flush of flowers and possible a third. Winter dormant.
Younger but choice woodland plants to 55 cms. Divided, ferny foliage. Slender, elegant spikes bear nodding, opalescent flowers that are white with ametheyst/violet. Humus-rich, semi-shaded, moist but well drained soil. Winter dormant.
