To 30 cms. Lovely forget-me-not, white flowers in spring and dark green leaves. Ground cover for shady border or beneath trees. Winter dormant.
To 15 cms. Lots of small powder blue flowers edged and centred with white giving a starry appearance. Dry shade, woodland or pots. Peaty rich soil under trees ideal.
Elegant and cottagey. Perfectly erect spikes to one metre tall are densely decorated with single white flowers studded with purple and orange eyes. Rich green leaves form a handsome rosette. Essential for formal or cottage gardens. Cut spent spikes and it will bounce back with new ones. Self-sows! Winter dormant.
Large white daisy-like flowers summer to autumn. Prominent, coppery-green, central cones surrounded by large white ray petals that are up to 10 cms long. Sun. Winter dormant.
(Burning Bush). Plants are 1 year old. Mature plants are up to 90 cms in height. Purple-mauve flowers with darker veins early summer, highly fragrant lemon scented leaves. A beautiful plant when in flower and a favourite of mine. Lovely as specimen plant where you can brush past it. Usually take 4 years to flower. Winter dormant.
