(Yellow Wax Bells). Rare – seldom available. .6 to 1.2 metres. Reddish-purple stems. Sharply lobed leaves. 3 cm long flowers with 5 creamy-yellow petals which overlap. Humus rich soil, part shade. Woodland garden. Winter dormant.
Early flowering alpine. Irregular leaf edges- silvery margins. Purple flowers. Very good drainage.
