Although it is a slow grower, the green leaved species will eventually spread by creeping rhizomes and self-seeding to form a thick and nice ground cover. Easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in part shade. Prefers consistently moist, organically rich soild in shady areas. Winter dormant.
To 75 cms. Lance-shaped leaves and panicles of pretty, fragrant, white flowers with a pink blush, in summer and autumn. Moist but free draining soil in sun or light shade. Some winter dormancy.
Mat-forming, sun-loving plant noted for its creeping habit and white flowers in spring. Suits rockery, over a wall or edging or along garden path.
