30 cms. Clump forming with bold, white spotted dark green leaves and pretty reddish pink flowers late winter/spring. Shade. Winter dormant.
Another beautiful Salvia that has deepest magenta pink flowers from late spring. Deadheading prolongs the flowering time. Sun or part shade. Highly fragrant and winter dormant.
(Canton fairy bells). 1 -1.5 metres in height. Dark purple stems and dusky purple leaves. Small, bell-shaped, pale ellow flowers late spring. Showy, purple berries in autumn. Clump forming. Winter dormant.
(Burning Bush). Plants are 2 years old. Mature plants are up to 90 cms in height. Purple-mauve flowers with darker veins early summer, highly fragrant lemon scented leaves. A beautiful plant when in flower and a favourite of mine. Lovely as specimen plant where you can brush past it. Usually take 4 years to flower. Winter dormant.
Low growing with pretty blue flowers late winter to spring, at about the same time as Snowdrops and Eranthis. Ground cover that suits part or full shade.
