To 45 cms. Compact and late flowering with large, fluffy, cornflower-like blue flowers late summer to autumn. Sun. Suits moist, sandy but well-drained soil, good drought tolerance. Not too wet in winter. Remove spent flowering stems to encourage additional blooms. Rock garden, front of border, cottage garden. Winter dormant.
