There are a few seed varieties and plastic labels available for sale. Visitors can obtain a printed catalogue and are welcome to wander around and enjoy looking at the variety of lines on offer. Some photos are on display or online.

Height to about 75 cms. Large orchid-like lavender flowers with yellow-throated bases summer/early autumn. Exotic looking for woodland borders and shade. Moist but well-drained soil in part/full shade. Winter dormant.
Height 30 to 40 cms. Ground cover. Mounds of green ferny foliage. Beautiful golden yellow flowers for months. Very useful to use at the base of woody trees and shrubs. Part shade and good drainage. Winter dormant.
Height to 20 cms. Fragrant and striking, spring flowering beauty. Masses of dark blue flowers with red stems. Lovely for shade. Blue-green, ferny-like foliage. Woodland plant and lovely planted under trees in a shady spot. Keep moist. Average, well-drained soil. May go dormant in summer if very hot and dry. Hardy and winter dormant.
Dwarf Solomon’s Seal. 15 to 30 cms in height. Easy to grow, dwarf variety. Green leaves on arching stems. Clusters of dangling, dainty, white bell flowers late spring. Excellent for cutting. Suitable for woodland garden. Usually turns bright golden-yellow at end of season. Winter dormant.
